%X The irrational use of natural resources has caused serious environmental problems, especially in relation to the degration of soils and water resources. Much of this problem is related to the lack of planning and lack of knowledge of the land use capacity, thus, it is necessary tools for planning activities that cause some impact on the environment as well as adoption of more sustainable practices. This work evaluates the agricultural aptitude of the Assurini Settlement Project located in the municipality of Altamira / PA, in this PA there is a predominance of agricultural activities characterized by family farmers.
